Trust is the product. Protection comes before disclosure.
Helicon exists so that the people who built battlefield-proven capability are not the last to benefit from it. Before any technical detail moves, you should understand who you are dealing with, how economics work, what the team does and does not decide, and exactly what happens in the first 30 days.
- Founder/operator-led
- 125+ patents
- 2 hard-tech companies built to acquisition
- U.S. manufacturing and defense-program execution experience
Helicon qualifies and structures pathways. It does not promise funding, contracts, government adoption, or automatic transition.
We, at Helicon Defense, want you here in the U.S. and we are ready to create the best terms for you to succeed.
— Natalya Meyer, Senior Advisor, Ukraine Partnerships & Defense Technology Transition, Helicon Defense
Entering allied defense markets requires more than a good product.
Many Ukrainian and allied defense technologies are being developed and improved under real operational pressure. Some may be strongly relevant to U.S. and allied needs, but relevance alone does not create a pathway. It requires trust, legal structure, IP protection, export-control discipline, manufacturing planning, and a realistic view of economics before any sensitive detail changes hands.
↑ Back to topTrust markers built in from the first conversation.
- Originator attribution
- Background IP protection
- NDA-sequenced disclosure
- Export/import sequencing
- EU and U.S. manufacturing options
- Negotiated economic participation
- No controlled data at intake
- Counsel-coordinated structure where appropriate
Two pages that matter most before you say anything sensitive.
You built the capability. You should participate in the value it creates.
Possible economic structures, what you keep by default, and why nothing is promised at intake.

Helicon is founder/operator-led. Natalya Meyer, Senior Advisor, Ukraine Partnerships & Defense Technology Transition, works directly with Ukrainian and allied innovators on outreach and relationship-building. She is not an executive officer or owner of Helicon, and she does not make engineering or technical decisions on Helicon’s behalf. Technical, legal, and economic terms are handled through Helicon’s core team and counsel, with disclosure sequenced so that sensitive material is never a condition of a first conversation.
↑ Back to topWe do not ask serious founders to give away control for vague access.
Helicon qualifies each capability, protects originator rights, structures the commercial terms, and controls disclosure at every step. We work to build lawful, practical, and mutually aligned pathways where innovators can retain value while helping allied warfighters receive needed capability. Every structure is case by case and negotiated in writing.
↑ Back to topStart with a non-confidential summary.
The first conversation should not include controlled technical data, source code, detailed drawings, restricted specifications, CUI, export-controlled material, or proprietary technical detail.
- One-page non-confidential capability summary
- Operational problem addressed
- Current maturity level
- Evidence of field use, customer feedback, or operational validation
- High-level ownership and IP status
- What you are seeking: U.S. customer access, manufacturing, licensing, investment, integration, testing, or counsel-supported structure
A protected pathway is not a guaranteed outcome.
Helicon can help credible Ukrainian and allied capabilities become evaluable, trusted, and manufacturable inside U.S. and allied defense pathways. Helicon does not guarantee U.S. or allied funding, contracting, investment, customer adoption, or market access. Every pathway depends on the capability, the customer, the compliance posture, and the operational fit. Where a fit is not there, Helicon will say so.
↑ Back to topHave a serious defense technology with operational validation?
Helicon is interested in selected capabilities where U.S. or allied transition, manufacturing, or sustainment could create real value.
Keep the first message non-confidential
Do not submit classified information, CUI, export-controlled technical data, source code, engineering drawings, proprietary specifications or other restricted material through the public website. Tell us only that protected material exists; Helicon will establish an appropriate channel if the opportunity proceeds.
